Thanks to electricity, the world now is bright even at night. But even with all its lights, there are many things that make this world a dim and cold place to live in -- envy, strife,
killings.
But there's still beaming hope.
"Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:15-16, KJV)
While there are many good works under and beyond the apparent heaven, this blog is about those of the Members Church of God International or MCGI.
Lead by Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon, this group originating from the Philippines conducts medical missions and provides shelter, food, and rides for free -- daily. Not to mention, establishing a free education program in the Philippines and Africa, where poor but deserving youths study entirely for free.
It's deeds like these that beam hope in such a seemingly hopeless world. Though evil has triumphed much in this age, it's indeed a blessing to see such acts of God unfold, and even more a delight to help share them with the rest of the World Wide Web.
To God be the glory!
